Moldex® Particulate Respirators That Meet Or Exceed CDC & WHO Recommendations For The H1N1 Flu
Moldex® respirators have many design innovations that set them apart from the competition. A pinch-free nose bridge that comfortably contours to the bridge of the nose, eliminating the discomfort and constant readjustment that is necessary with metal nosebands.
Exclusive Dura-Mesh® shell protects the filter media so it stays cleaner-looking longer. Plus, it resists collapsing in regular use and even under hot and humid conditions. They meet heat and flame resistance in accordance with ANSI/ISEA 110-2003 Section 7.11.1.
Our exclusive Ventex® valve lets the hot air out easier, reduces breathing resistance, keeps workers cooler, and allows masks to last longer.
A variety of strap styles, including our unique EZ-ON® and HandyStrap®, to fit your individual work environments.
These and many other proprietary advantages create a family of Moldex® respirators that can be worn comfortably for longer periods, increasing compliance while decreasing costs.
CAUTION:
Respirators must be properly selected and fitted to provide protection to the user. It is the responsibility of the user to make the appropriate choice of respirator based on the contaminant, workplace concentrations, and any other site specific conditions. It is also the responsibility of the user to ensure that the workplace is in compliance with all Federal, State and Local regulations on worker safety, including but not limited to, OSHA regulations on respiratory protection (29 CFR 1910.134). Outside of the USA, check with all applicable and local government regulations. Read all Warnings and Use Instructions that accompany the respirators. If you have any technical questions regarding respiratory protection, call Moldex® at (800) 421-0668.
INDUSTRIAL DISPOSABLE N95 PARTICULATE RESPIRATORS
Industrial disposable N95 respirators are designed to reduce but cannot eliminate the wearer’s exposure to airborne particulates. These respirators (without valves) can also help prevent exhalation of contamination by the wearer to others in the work environment. They have specially designed filters to reduce the number of very small particles entering the wearer’s respiratory system. However, filtering is only part of the equation. The disposable respirator is also designed to fit and seal against the face of the wearer. A proper fit ensures that the inhaled air is drawn through the filter media of the disposable respirator. Fit testing the respirator selected to each individual is essential to assuring the respirator can provide its intended level of protection.
Industrial N95 Respirators:
- Are designed to reduce but cannot eliminate the wearer’s exposure against certain airborne particles and aerosols free of oil.
- Form a tight seal over the mouth and nose. Employers & users are required to follow the OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard, 29CFR 1910.134.
- These respirators (without valves) can also help prevent exhalation of contamination by the wearer to others in the work environment.
- Require fit-testing and must be adjusted to your face to provide the intended effectiveness.
- Have specific use instructions, warnings and limitations for use in industrial environments.
- Are NIOSH certified.

HEALTHCARE N95 PARTICULATE RESPIRATORS/SURGICAL MASKS
Surgical N95 respirators are designed to reduce but cannot eliminate the wearer’s exposure to airborne particulates. These respirators also help prevent exhalation of contamination by the wearer to the patient, medical equipment, sterile field, or work environment. They have specially designed filters to reduce the number of very small particles from entering the wearer’s respiratory system and have fluid resistance attributes; they prevent fluid that lands on the mask from touching the wearer’s nose, skin, or lips. However, filtering efficiency and fluid resistance is only part of the equation. The disposable surgical N95 respirator is also designed to fit and seal against the face of the wearer. A proper fit ensures that the inhaled air is drawn through the filter media of the disposable respirator.
Surgical N95 Masks:
- Surgical N95 masks are designed to reduce but cannot eliminate the wearer’s exposure to airborne biological contaminants. They do not eliminate the risk of illness, disease, or death.
- Form a tight seal over the mouth and nose.
- Require fit-testing and must be adjusted to your face to provide the intended effectiveness.
- Employers & users are required to follow the OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard, 29CFR 1910.134.
- Have specific use instructions, warnings and limitations for use in healthcare environments.
- Are NIOSH certified.
